Do you think dogs can sense labour?

I’m 39 weeks and my fur baby is beyond clingy. He’s not much of a cuddle bug, but today all he wants to do is cuddle! Hoping labour is close 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Not sure about labor but I know dogs do get a lot clingier and protective over mama and baby while pregnant! So I wouldn’t be surprised. Dogs are intuitive. My sisters dog wouldn’t ever let her sit down without putting his head on her lap when she was pregnant 😊

I think they can sense when a change is happening! My dog was so antsy throughout the day of my induction. We left at 9:30pm and she tried to follow us out the door. I def believe she knew we were coming back with our baby.

Totally all my dogs have reacted differently when I’ve been pregnant. One got guardy, one clings to me when he wasn’t a cuddly dog but when labour came he backed off and the other has constantly been my shadow even when I’ve been grumpy and hormonal as hell

I believe they do sense it! Days where I have cramping or contractions my dog comes to me as soon as they start and wont leave my side. We’re not even close lol so when she senses my pains I panic 😂

Yes!!! They definitely can. You can have a different scent and the baby will have their own scent and they will know you’re pregnant! Dogs are pack animals and know they have a new incoming member on the way!
