Big baby anyone?!

Question

I am 37 weeks today. And during my appointment, my doctor pushed around the baby and approximated it to be 7 to 7 1/2 lbs already! 
I am 1cm dilated as of today as well and hoping baby plans on coming early! 
I know its just me wishing...but makes me a tad nervous with baby being so big already!
Does anyone have any experience with this?! Did your baby come early?!

My boy was 8lbs 13oz when he was born, all the doctors though I was going to have a c section because he was “huge” Well, I proved them wrong! And so did he!

They told me my daughter was gonna be a 10lb baby! I said uhh what? I didn’t have GD and I had only gained 20lbs by 38wks. They had me all worked up about it. But she came out at 8lbs (still on the “bigger baby” side) at 41weeks. So don’t worry to much. It’s just an educated guess for them!

It’s not a 100% science them feeling around and what the ultrasound shows. I say this bc they kept telling me that my daughter was big and it scared me. She was measuring 11lbs two weeks before her due date 😮 (or so they thought) and I had a healthy pregnancy with no gestational diabetes. They told me there was no way I could have her vaginally and scheduled me with a c-section. She came out 8lb8oz, still a bigger/healthy baby, but one I could have had vaginally. I was upset initially, but at the end of the day my baby was healthy and in my arms and everyone was ok. I know this sounds weird, but trust your mom gut. I felt like they were off and didn’t ask questions, I didn’t feel like I was so big and didn’t thing she felt big inside of me, but I went with it. Just keep asking questions and stay healthy (eat good meals, walk, drink water) and I’m sure you’ll be ok!

My baby was estimated 8lbs at 36 weeks... the doc I saw at the time was a perinatologist and said I should be still fine delivering my baby vaginally.

My baby estimated 7lbs 1 oz at 35 weeks. 
It’s really just a guess though so I’m not worried. 
I’m delivering at 37 weeks so I won’t get another growth scan before delivery.

My baby was 5lb 11oz at 36 weeks and when she was born she was the same weight.
