27 weeks and pain?

E

So, this morning and afternoon I had a little bit of a scare. I wasn’t feeling my baby move much. A little bit around 7am and a couple light kicks around noon. I called my doctor and while I was waiting for a call back, I started feeling him move around more. The doctor got back to me and told me to go to the hospital but I told her I felt him moving more. He’s been moving on and off ever since then.

I have felt some very light pain or pressure in my lower abdomen, which I haven’t really felt before. I don’t think it’s a contraction because it doesn’t feel tight. It doesn’t feel like a cramp, either. I guess the only way I can describe it is general discomfort and sometimes if I move a certain way, I feel it a little more. It doesn’t really go away either. No spotting and I feel fine otherwise. I have an anterior placenta and the baby is laying across my belly, not head down.

I don’t want to panic over something that’s normal and drive across town, to go to doctors that aren’t my normal doctor, and get charged a ton of money- again if this is just a normal feeling. What do you think?
