Should I take the job in the office or stay at home and continue teleworking?

The job I do now I am able to telework from home. I have the option of OT also. The job I applied for I’d have to go back into the office everyday but it’s almost a 20k raise and a rating increasing so I would be able to apply for higher level positions in the future. We’re TTC so obviously working from home would be awesome but I’m also thinking of being able to prosper with better pay.

I say raise because although you won’t be able to be a stay at home mom with that job... I also don’t think you’d be able to work from home easily while your kids are there like you’ll never get anything done with a kid running around asking you for things and wanting attention

I left behind my job, making over 90k to be a stay at home mom. ( obviously, we can offered it and don't struggle financially) for me, being a mom was the most important thing for me to be able to do. Honestly, if you factor in daycare for an infant ( unless you have family ) you won't be making much more. Daycare for my daughter, was at lowest 1700 a month.  So, honestly your raise in income wouldn't be that much.
