Depends on the cruise lines and the rules. Most do not allow non-potty trained kids in the water areas and my 1 year old would’ve been so upset not swimming. I did take her when she was 6 months and 2.5 years and she loved it!

My friend just did with her one year old. But he wasn’t allowed in any of the pools on the ship! 😑 said they have to be potty trained. So keep that in mind to check the ships rules or be prepared to have someone stay out with them

My kid is to wild all i can image is something going wrong on the ship so for me i would say its a hard pass

I wouldn’t, but both my niece and nephews parents took them on cruises that young!

Went on a 5 day carnival cruise with my 1 1/2 year old. My MIL came as well. She was allowed to swim in the pools and walk around the ship with us. They even had a menu for her to eat at dinner time. Super kid friendly.

I would IF my baby went to bed at a later time. He chose 5pm at that age. It would just be hard for hubby and I to do stuff together after that time. 
PS: At that age he slept from 5pm-7am.

My niece will be almost 3 when her parents go on a week long cruise and they’re leaving her home. I would too, if I were them. Then again, I don’t agree with taking babies on vacations. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m no fun, I guess.

I plan on taking my daughter when she’s about 10 months old.  We’re obviously going to have to modify our usual vacation habits a bit and plan on booking without much care of ports locations this time because we won’t be doing excursions or going too far from port.  Go, you’ll have fun!

I’d just be wayyyy to stressed out the entire time and would not have fun. Anxiety ruins a lot of would be fun for me.
