I had terrible heartburn w this guy!! (But I do think it’s an old wives’ tale. I’ve always had bad heartburn. It was just worse while I was pregnant.)

Old wives tale.. how does a baby inside a placenta inside your uterus most likely head down at cervix .. having hair.. have anything to do with acid reflux?
 Reflux is caused by your organs being smashed upwards during  pregnancy and the hormones causing your muscles to relax thus letting acid flow upwards easier (also why you can't poop easy anymore). 
Just never understood this old wives tale.
