HGC level

My husband and I are ttc but what makes it difficult is the fact that my cycles range from 40-50 days. I called my doctor and she said I can go on Provera to shorten my cycle. She sent me out to do a pregnancy blood test to make sure I wasn't pregnant before taking this medicine. Well, she just called and said she didn't know if I was pregnant because my HGC level was a 10. Anything below 5, you're not pregnant, and my number falls in the "iffy" category. Now I have to wait until Monday after work to take another blood test- it's going to drive me insane not knowing until Tuesday morning! Has anyone had an experience like this? I'm going to need support to calm my nerves all weekend!
