Baby reflux! 😣

I believe my LO has severe reflux, she can’t spend a minute without gulping! She is unable to latch on most of the times bc of the reflux and gas pain. Sometimes there are times she is hungry but cannot latch on. My pediatrician just gave a gas drop and a rice cereal kind of thing to thicken the milk but I EBF so it is tricky to put some of the powder into her mouth then try to latch her on. I am scared it would stuck into her throat if she cannot latch on bc of the pain etc...

I feel like we need some medication to reduce the gas in the stomach.

To those whose baby was diagnosed with reflux:

1) What symptopms did your LO have?

2) What methods DR use to diagnose it? Just by the symptoms or via an ultrasound scan?

I am afraid her issue might be more serious than a normal baby redlux. ( be GERD rather than GER) and our pediatrician seems to believe it is normal!
