has anyone been in the army reserves?

i’m asking because i wanna go into the reserves but i have a 6 month old baby and a part time job.
what are the requirements? what do you do everyday? i have very little to no knowledge on the topic.

I’d go to a recruiter and talk to them. They’ll have the best knowledge for you. My husband is active army so I don’t know a ton about the reserves but just make sure you’re 100% sure you want to do it. The lifestyle isn’t for everyone, especially with kids. You really don’t make a lot in the reserves either so I wouldn’t do it if you just want an extra paycheck.

My husband is in the reserves.  He goes to parade every Wednesday for 4 hours. During the "school year".  They don't do it during summer as everyone signs up for training. He says it's like a boys club for the evening.  He gets paid $50 for his time.  He gets paid more if he does weekend excercises, but only $100 in a whole 24 hours.
