D&C, medication or naturally?

Im 8 weeks. Never had an ultrasound. I found out my HCG was low and started to drop 48 hours later. (1,814 to 1,677) My doctors office has been terrible. I have an appointment Monday when I’m guessing I’ll be offered options. I’m supposed to leave for vacation Thursday 😭 I seriously don’t even know what I should do. How can I chance being on vacation and suddenly begin the process? Or won’t I still be bleeding by then if I did one of the other procedures? I’d prefer getting it over ASAP but I’m scared with the D&C. Help?! Advice? This sucks. Also found out my progesterone was low at 4.3. Any experiences with that would be great too! This was my first pregnancy.

THANK YOU for all of your help. This has been the biggest Ed emotional roller coaster of my life. UPDATE:
This is my first pregnancy. LMP 4/11. My HCG on 6/4 was 1,814. Low but possibly within range. 2 days later 1,676. I was convinced it was over. This is BAD. They went DOWN. Progesterone 4.3. I went home bawling. My husband and I grieved. We were pretty sure it was over, I was miscarrying our first baby. I’ve had no bleeding. I have had cramping since I tested positive. They ordered another HCG 4 day’s later- 1,827. Wtf?! They should’ve went way up or dropped so what is going on. Well, my doctor was concerned it was ectopic. All signs pointed towards it. I was terrified. Every twinge I swore something was going to rupture. I finally got in for a transvaginal ultrasound to confirm or rule out an ectopic. I explained my situation and was just praying it wasn’t ectopic. The lady said WELL HERE IS THE HEARTBEAT AND ITS DEFINITELY IN THE UTERUS. What?!?!? How is that even possible?!? Dated it 6 weeks 3 days compared to my 8 week 6 days based off LMP and the heart rate is 107. I began taking progesterone right away. PRAYING this baby thrives and we make it to term! Please, please, please all the prayers and thoughts! We are all baffled and I’m still terrified but also relieved. My nurses and doctors are so confused.  Also my first trip to the bathroom after the transvaginal ultrasound I had a small amount of blood and spotting. Haven’t had any since. They didn’t tell me that was a possibility so I was definitely thrown off.

I took the meds over the weekend..it was a pretty bad experience and apparently didnt get everything out so I had to also do the d&c yesterday...if I knew that from the beginning I wouldve just did the d&c..if had cramping but its controlled by meds and bleeding turned light last night..was told to wait 24 hours to take a bath or shower and a week to have sex.

So sorry girl. I had a d and c with my first mc and it certainly helped the healing process along for me. And much less bleeding after vs waiting for it to occur. Good luck to you 🙏

So sorry you are going through this. I had to have a d and c and honestly it wasn’t that bad physically. You get put out and was quick. Out about 1.5 hours after and don’t really have pain or cramp. Bled but not heavy for a few days. But no sex and swimming or bathing until at least 2 weeks.
