Induction stories?

Does anyone have a positive story with their first induction... I’ve read a lot of horror stories and I’m nervous. Scheduled for one next week

Inductions can go beautifully. Make sure you’re nurses know EXACTLY what you expect. If you want just the pitocin and then to labor naturally then make sure and double make sure they know to not break your water. If you’re just along for the ride then just relax and enjoy it Mama❤️ If you want the epidural don’t wait get that bad boy from the get go😂

I was induced a week before my due date. They gave me the option at 39 weeks I was so over being pregnant and everything went fine I even had an epidural no back pain no crazy headaches. My daughter was born after only 3 pushes. Don’t worry you’ll be fine.

Had one 3 months ago with my first and everything went very smoothly! I was 40+1 and got it due to his size and multiple failed non stress tests. 
Started the first medication around 9pm  overnight for 12 hrs (can’t remember the name but it is inserted next to your cervix on a string). It softens  the cervix. Got another medication at around 9am that sits in your mouth by your cheek and dissolves.  Then my water broke on it’s own surprising my nurse and doctor and I got contractions without even getting the pitocin started. I got an epidural eventually (which was awesome) and they did give me a little pitocin at the very end since it was already on my IV stand and my contractions kind of evened when they wanted them to ramp up. Had a regular birth only pushing for like 30 mins or so. All in all Baby was here bout 26 hours after the first medication and about 12 hours after my water broke.

Was induced with my first at 41 weeks he just had zero plans of coming on his own so we had to force him out lol. I had a great induction even though my own experience with it was a very long process. Once they hit me with pitocin is when my contractions were the worse it was very painful I got my epidural at 3-4 cm and let me tell you it was the best decision I made. I was able to relax and rest and talk with my family that was there. My epidural never stopped working even though I got it so early I did have pressure but zero pain. Even while pushing I had no pain just pressure, I know some say they couldn’t push correctly because of the epidural I however didn’t have that issue. Altogether I was in labor 30hours pushed for 55min and he was born 8lbs 6oz

My induction was an amazing experience. My labour and delivery was so smooth I didnt have any problems.
