Sex before marriage

I am 18 and have been dating this guy for about a year and 3 months, good relationship, very in love with each other, he's a good guy. About a year ago I believed that I wanted to wait to have sex untill marriage. My parents, or at least my mom still believe that. However, me thinking that way was mainly for the purposes of appeasing my moms religion and my parents not having to worry about me. I am a mature young adult and can make my own judgements ya know. However, around november last year I decided That I was going to have sex, so I did. I have been having sex for a while now and I love it. My partner respects me and my words, choices, and everything. I am in a healthy relationship but I still haven't told any family. What do you guys think?
