Does diary make you gassy?

I cut out wheat a year and a half ago and i love it, it’s made a big difference in my life.

In the last 6 months or so I’ve started having a lot of stomach cramps and being super gassy. I finally started tracking things to figure out what was upsetting me so much and it seems to be milk and cream. It was easy to figure out because I rarely drink either of them and usually avoid putting them in my cooking.

However I seem to be totally fine with other dairy products such as yogurt, and any hard or soft cheese. Anyone else experience something similar?
