Still in crib?

Daughter will be 3 in June. She no longer naps, but on the rare occasion. Sleeps 730p-8a like clock work. Ped said leave her in there as long as she’ll let me. She LOVES her crib, but it’s just starting to feel so weird that she’s still in it? Maybe bc it’s not the “norm”. I’m not taking her out of it until she expresses interest or something changes, but just curious if anyone else is in my boat!

My almost 3 year old still sleeps in his crib and I plan to keep him in there until he expresses otherwise! He loves his crib and now that I have a 3 month old girl, it’s so much easier that he stays in his crib so I can focus on getting baby to bed.

When my daughter turned 15 months was getting out of her crib put into toddler, she be 3 June 12 next week and still sleeping great .

The only reason we moved our kiddo to a big boy bed is because he is the size of Godzilla and we had another baby 🤷🏻‍♀️ you do you mama!

My sons 3 and we got him a “big boy bed” and I immediately regret it lol he’s up constantly and bothering us all hours of the night. But his crib started to scare him like he was trapped, he started calling it his cage which made me feel sad lol just do what’s best for you and your family! I wish I waited longer to transition him for my sanity but I guess I can’t turn back now 😔

It has still not occurred to my son that he should even try to escape it 🤷🏻‍♀️ He absolutely loves his crib. When I was pregnant with my daughter (born Nov 2018), my husband and I decided to just buy a second crib because there was no way we were taking his from him. He will be sleeping in it until he no longer wants to.

You have to do what’s best for your child. At the time we went away and for a good 3 weeks ( this was sometime last year) I made the switch to a toddler bed. She eventually got it and loves it now. But I did it by I felt she showed signs and she was def going through something cuz omg I was a zombie for almost the month of August last year!!

All my friends tell me keep her in as long as she will stay. My daughter too loves her crib. She feels safe and goes right to sleep at night so I feel no need to try to transition her until I see some type of sign.

Somewhere after 2 he went through a stage where his crib started to terrify him. I think he felt claustrophobic or trapped or something. I took the front off and put the toddler rail up and it got better. One may have had nothing to do with the other but I got desperate lol

I guess it’s still crib but with side off and he just turned 3. He’ll be in there until he expresses other wise. He’s sleeping well 830p-7a so until that changes we’re in no rush.
