Husband being too friendly?

Is it just me or is it weird/inappropriate for my husband to joke with two of his employees that they should name their babies after him? He is a district manager for a company and I was at his job today and two of his female employees told me that he was saying this. Of course he's joking, but that's so inappropriate to me. Am I over reacting?

I think it depends on the comments that were said.... 
If a woman was talking about what to name her baby and he pops in and says 'you know Jack is a good name' then you are overreacting.... 
However if it's in a different context and he is just bringing up what she should name her baby after him then I'd be slightly concerned. Not only is it inappropriate as a manager, it could be taken as more than a joke by the employee and turn into a case against him.

Nope not cool. I would have slapped all 3 of them. Then from telling you something they should have told their boss is crazy.... And he needs to know what boundaries to have at the work place

He had better be careful. He may not mean anything by it but one day one of these women may see it as a sexual comment. He is management he needs to be careful with what he does.

She's not over reacting. All this could lead to something else especially him being the boss. You all watch movies right? How many have you seen a boss's secretary have an affair with him? Me? Plenty of them. Even if he's faithful, there's always temptation especially if it's been thrown at him. Not saying he would but that's throwing opportunity at his face. I'd talk to him. He might see it as harmless but hopefully he understands your point of view. Good luck!!

Sorry but a husband who would insinuate that he is having or thinking of an extramarital affair is a Huge red flag to me and my husband! Not funny. Not appropriate. Great way to get fired. Great way to place doubt within a marriage. Tell him how you feel. That type of joking around is disrespectful to you .

Yes.  You probably loved his outgoing personality when y'all met.  And of course the more you fall in love with someone the more you realize you can lose them so basic human nature is to be jelly... Hope you vent here and be supportive to him.  He's just joking around

My ex husband was overly touchy and loose lips especially when he was drinking. (Had no filter) we had crappy communication skills  and his flirtation, drinking and lack of communication were big factors of why we are divorced.
Now that I'm with a man who appreciates me  for me and we have good communication.... (even the rough shit Sucks to say but why hid it?) 
I would be honest with him and tell him how it made you feel.
