Baby monitor help

So I'm looking for a baby monitor, but all these horror stories about them getting hacked has me a bit concerned 😓 I did a little research and it said that the ones most likely to get hacked are the ones that you hook up to your wifi. I found one called the Eufy spaceview monitor that seems to have pretty good reviews and doesnt require you to hook it up to wifi, but I'm still a bit paranoid. Anyone have any input on which direction to go?
