Fireplace cover

So I have always had a fear of my twin boys getting hurt on my fireplace. Which honestly if it was up to me I would knock it down. Since I couldn’t take it down yet I decided to cover it and add some extra seating.

I’ll admit I’m not handy at all, nor would I say this was perfectly done and I know it has so many flaws, but I just needed something for the time being. This was something I did 85% on my own, and I’ve never really used power tools before. Oh and I suck at measuring so it’s kind of pieced together just to get it done.

While I know it’s not perfect, I’m still proud of myself 🤗
