Knickers on display

Can anyone help me out with this - so my husband has a drying room at work and sometimes takes our bedding to wash as it can be hung out properly. I asked him to make sure none of my underwear gets mixed up as I'm not comfortable with it being hung out to dry and therefore on display in front of all his colleagues. His response was to tell me this isn't normal and I shouldn't care who sees it. I would have thought most women wouldn't be overly enamoured with the thought of their knickers being displayed in their husbands workplace.. or maybe he is right and I am "not normal".
