Mother to my husband and our child?

I feel like my husbands mother sometimes. I swear the man is incapable of lifting a finger around the house... I clean every single day and the next day the house is just as messy. He leaves clothes everywhere, won't put a dish in the dish washer and god forbid I ask him to take out the trash. When we first got together he lived in military quarters which have to be kept clean so I know he knows how. So why in the heck won't he do anything. Grrrrr men
