Post baby smoking

Has anyone or do you know anyone who smokes and breastfeeds? I’m worried about my depression especially with postpartum depression and I don’t want to be taking medicine if I can just smoke a little in the evenings to help myself. Has anyone had any problems and does that affect the baby?? I want to ask my doctor but I’m worried he will judge me. It’s legal here but still... I would never do anything that can affect my son. Thank you
