As a seventeen year old, I always wonder how my mom would react if she saw a hickey on my neck. Anyone have any stories or wanna explain how they’d react? Thanks :)

My daughter is 14 and I’m trying to raise her to be a responsible young woman that makes good choices.  No I wouldn’t be happy if she allowed a boy to mark her neck up with hickies and basically be putting her private business in the streets. My hope is that she wouldn’t bring attention to herself in that way.

Hickeys are trashy and don't look good 🤷 like have some respect for yourself. If you are into them - ask you partner to do them on less visible areas because I would judge 🤷

My mother was very very angry at me, I was 17 at the time and thought she was going to disown me, but we had a very real conversation after which was slightly humorous lol. I’d say I’d be the same as my mother 😂

I don’t get why people freak out about hickeys. I wouldn’t intentionally get a hickey in a visible place, but they happen accidentally and they’re really not that big of a deal.

Not on her neck 🤷‍♀️ I’ve had hickeys all over my breasts and a few on my stomach because I respect who I’m around, and want to keep wang me and my boyfriend do privately
