Who’s had an iui? I have a question.

Husband and I are doing our first iui soon. I went in for cycle day 12 scan today and one 20 mm follicle is there so doc thinks I’ll ovulate in the next few days.
She said to keep doing the deed every other day, but I’m worried we should have a good solid buildup so hesitant to do any more before the procedure. What’s been your experience with still trying leading up to day of having iui? 
Also first month trying pink stork fertility tea. Who had taken this and do you stop drinking it after ovulation/iui or through getting period/positive?
I know they are kind of random questions but any insight to first iui experience and success with this tea is much appreciated!

Has he had his sperm tested? If his results were normal, then I wouldn’t worry. I bded every other day until trigger shot, bd night of trigger, and then wait until iui

My office does things a little differently then a previous commenter..I do the trigger then 12 hours later an IUI and then 24 hours after the first IUI I do a second. They tell us to abstain for 24 hours before our first IUI, and abstain after the first IUI until we do the second. So the goal is for him to have 24 hours before each time, oddly all three rounds his numbers were higher on the second IUI then the first. As for the tea you need to stop once you ovulate! You can not drink it if there’s a chance of pregnancy, you can start drinking it again after your period begins (hopefully it won’t)! Good luck, hope this was helpful!

One time we bd’d 12 hours before an IUI and it was totally fine. As long as your husband’s numbers are normal, you don’t have to ration sex.

My office told me about 3 days but my husband has good sperm its my infertility that affects us so I had us doing every other day leading up and now I'm having my out Tuesday so i was planning to bd in the morning to give us almost exactly 48 hours of abstaining until the iui and I'm planning to bd again that night and for 2 days after. I've had 2 failed iuis so I'm being really particular about this one
