Bassinet strollers

I'm bummed because I would like to have an european stroller like I did with my daughter,it was a 3-1 travel system(bassinet,"chair& car seat).We were in Spain then so it was normal to find that at any store without having to pay a leg and an arm for it.I've been looking here(USA)and that type of stroller costs over $1,000 and the cheap version of it it's the bassinet(which you can put in an upright position)and the carseat.It looks terrible IMO so I've been thinking about buying the regular stroller with the carseat and the bassinet apart but don't know what type of strollers you can add the bassinet to.Help!
