When did you start shopping for baby?

When did you start buying stuff for your baby? Does anyone have superstitious family or are you yourself?

We has been trying for 9 months so I bought stuff before we conceived

We started buying gender neutral things first trimester, a couple of onesies because we were so excited. During the second trimester we have a things given to us already for our baby boy as well as have bought and gotten ready a few of the bigger items like dresser/changing table and cradle (which is one I slept in as a baby). I am starting my third trimester now and have my baby shower in a few weeks. We will finish any leftover shopping after that.

I started buying clothes and some diapers in the second trimester and I started buying the big things (bassinet, swing, glider chair, car seat, etc) in the third trimester.

we started buying stuff as soon as I got my bfp. The first things we bought was the carseat/stroller (we've had our eye on it for over a year before be started ttc), and pack n play. We had all our nursery furniture by 15weeks.

People started giving me things as soon as i announced it. But i just started to buy things in the last week or 2. But im not buying much bc i want to wait til after ny baby shower so i dont buy things that other people get me.

I bought my first baby item at about 8 weeks, it was a blanket and I just fell in love with it. I was really nervous about buying it as I'd not had my first appointment or anything yet but it was the last one in stock so I had to have it. My dad bought a pair of baby booties about 1 week before my scan. Everything I have purchased has been gender neutral clothes, and a steriliser unit which all bought after my first scan. My second, 20 week, scan is October 14th and I'll probably be more relaxed about buying after that. But I refuse to have any baby things at my house. I'm so scared to jinx it 😕
