Old wives tale: pregnant women should not go outside durning an eclipse, it could cause birth defects. Would you go outside to see the super moon tonight?

So I personally know someone who was born without ears, she's not deaf just has no ears. I was told by someone trusted who's also related to this person, that the reason why she was born that way was because her mom went outside during an eclipse. This women has many siblings all who have no abnormalities or defects.

Maybe it's rubbish maybe there is something to it. My husband had never heard of this before and thinks it's hilarious that I personally won't be testing the theory. I'll be inside tonight.
