Baking soda with pre seed?

Question

I was reading online about women mixing Baking soda w/pre seed to make cm more alkaline when trying to conceive a baby boy. Has anyone tried or heard of this before?  I know I'm grasping at straws here but it sounded interesting.  It said to mix a pinch of baking soda to the pre seed to raise level to an 8.

If you want a boy, have sex on your peak day, deep penetration such as from behind and orgasm preferably at the same time or right after your SO. That pushes the sperm further inside your body. I'm reading how to choose the sex of your baby by Dr Landrum Shettles we want a girl and when I read the boy chapters it was everything we did for our first two...which are boys. I know it's not a 100% chance but we had boys the first two times so so far it's worked for us boy wise.
