So, I've joined this group because my water prematurely broke at 30 weeks 4 days. And I am currently being hospitalized until after delivery to prevent infection. The goal is to keep her in utero until I am 34 weeks to give time for the steroids to help her lungs develop and the Magnizium to help prevent brain bleeds. On July 4th (34 weeks) They plan on inducing my labor the rest of the way because risk of infection is really high when your water is broken. There is still a chance I could have my daughter sooner but I'm trying to remain positive and hope for the best which is July 4th. The longer she is in utero the less nicu time she will need. Please pray that we make it to July 4th.
