Suddenly swollen ankles/legs? I woke up this morning with really swollen legs and feet. I’m 38 + 4 so I’m guessing its normal but if it comes on suddenly is that bad?

🙋🏼‍♀️ I had no swelling till week 37, only in the PM, now at week 38 and it's pretty consistent. I have a history of preeclampsia, but so far everything is coming up normal. Normal late pregnancy swelling. Definitely not very soothing to see when you have that history.

I’m 38+4 and this morning my feet were the same! So bizarre but have no other symptoms so waiting until my appointment Wednesday with my midwife.

Mine did that and 2 days later my water broke and i didnt have swelling my whole pregnancy until then. Supposedly it's a sign of labor but idk if that true its just what the nurse told me

I’m 37+4 mins started days ago, & I am scheduled to be induced tomorrow with preeclampsia. Not too major but enough to be brought in little earlier. Swelling could be normal but it depends on your blood pressure, protein in urine, etc. good luck sweetie. Check in with dr. Don’t panic
