Live in ny, have Medicaid so I receive prenatal care at a local clinic. With my first pregnancy my water broke at 37 weeks around 5pm and I remember it kept coming out in gushes and gushes almost until my baby was born at 12pm the next afternoon. At one point I overheard the nurses talking and one asked the other if I had poly and the other said she didn’t know. I was in too much pain to think anything of it and it actually never crossed my mind again until now that I’m 36 weeks.

Since I go to the clinic all they do is measure my belly and check my vitals and weight. Nothing above that will get done as my insurance, from what one nurse told me, doesn’t cover it.

Is there a way to know if I did have that with my first pregnancy? And are there any signs I might have that now?
