Is it to early to buy baby stuff ?

I just found out that I was pregnant on 6/14/19 so I’m about 4 weeks and it is honestly the best feeling ever ! A lot of people have told me not to tell anyone until I’m 12 weeks for safety reasons.. well I couldn’t hold it in and I told everyone lol ! But ANYWAYS I would love some opinions on if it is to soon for my husband and I to already get little things for the baby ! Please help I’m dying to start buying stuff

I told everyone. And then we had a loss. 
But you know what? I got more live and support and kindness because everyone knew and wanted to help. I felt some embarrassment too, but mostly love. 
So I say let people in on the journey. Buy the stuff. They’ll be there for you through thick and thin. 
For what it’s worth, I’ll keep it quiet next time. It was hard. 
But live life to the fullest. Buy the stuff.

we started telling people and buying things RIGHT away..  got a few gifts. subscribed to some parenting magazines and email lists..  the whole nine yards within the first week we knew.
then we lost our baby at 6 weeks.
telling people was hard, but looking at all the stuff we already had was the hardest.  my husband is wonderful and packed it all away so I wouldn't have to..  now we're saving it for next time.  I still get emails and magazines sometimes and it breaks my heart all over again every time.
BUT.. it was so much fun for that one week!  and I would be heartbroken with or without all the stuff...  so if you want to start buying things, go for it!  enjoy every second.  I had one short week..  I'm glad I made it a fun one.

I don’t think too early! My husband and I had talked about getting some stuff just because we are so excited but know that it’s still really early so we could always keep for future. I’m at 6 weeks now! Enjoy the baby aisles!!

Its all up to you no one can tell you not to, I'm pregnant with bby #6 12weeks today i just look at baby stuff but not plan on buying rn for my 7mo old we didn't buy anything until i turned 30weeks also my bf didn't told his family until i turned 21weeks we waited on telling family due to two back to back miscarriages thus is why you were told to atleast wait until 12weeks that way if something happens you don't have to tell anyone But wishing you best of luck and Congratulations

I told family before 12 weeks as well. Even though I love my fiance dearly he would not know how to handle me God forbid I had lost the baby. We haven't bought anything yet but you can do whatever you want it's your pregnancy.

I started buying stuff right away, just little things like onesies and cute towels lol. After we found out the gender we got a lot more and then got bigger stuff. Don’t go over board because if you’re planning on finding out the gender you’re going to go on a shopping spree once you find out what you’re having haha

If you want to buy stuff, go for it. I’m 9 weeks and I’ve bought a few outfits. I’m not going to start buying the bigger stuff until I’m in my second trimester but I love buying little outfits!
