Should I wear makeup to try on wedding dresses?

I’m weird and when buying outfits I usually always have a full face of makeup on to see if I like how it all looks together. When going dress shopping, am I allowed to have makeup on? I don’t wanna be that woman who gets makeup on anything so I think not, yet I imagine many dresses I can step into and not put over my head. Advice?

I worked in bridal for a few years. 100% wear makeup if you normally do. There is no policy that you can’t. It helps see the full look as well

Many places just have sample dresses you try on then you order. They have samples expecting them to get wear and tear.
Maybe use some extra setting powder or something if your comes off easily

Not sure why you wouldn't be allowed to? Many women wear makeup every day so it's just normal to have some on! I would suggest wearing it to get more of an idea on how everything will look for the wedding

I did. It helps you imagine more of what you'll look like on the day. This was when i found "the one"!
