Has anyone had your baby umbilical cord attached to the side of the placenta?

I had my anatomy scan today and was told my baby umbilical cord is attached to the side of the placenta. My placenta is in front of her

Answer

Yes. Is yours marginal or velamentous? Mine is velamentous cord insertion (WAY too much to the side). That plus placenta previa is making me get a c section at 37 wks.  That said, if yours is marginal you should be fine. The concern is the growth of the baby and mine is in the 90th percentile for weight 😳. So its not something to worry about!
