So I've been in prodromal labor since 34w4d when they stopped contractions for preterm labor. They sent me on my way and basically just said come back when you can't stand the pain anymore. Well, I work 12 hour nights and every. single. night. I get contractions that last over a minute and get as close together as 3 minutes apart for eight to ten hours at a time. Nothing helps (water, laying down, etc.) I can't do my job when I'm contracting like this and I'm over it. I try to sleep during the day and the contractions keep me awake. They're painful and most of the time I can't talk through them. I'm 37w2d now, so I'm wondering if they would get things started early if I'm this miserable? I have an appointment on Thursday.
