What size clothes do you take to the hospital for the baby?

Clueless, it’s my first and I didn’t even know there was like 3 different sizes 🤦🏼‍♀️

I tend to have small babies so i always pack a few NB and a few preemie just incase! With ny 1st i only packed NB and nothing fit him 🤣 so my mom got smaller clothes for him lol you can always pack a few of few each and leave them in the car until little one is here :)

All babies fit Newborn. It is very rare to have a child so big they won’t fit newborn clothes. I have large kids 9-10lbs range and they are still able to fit newborn clothes and it’s even big on them. 
Unless your having an 11+ lbs baby or an incredibly LONG baby then newborn will be plenty fine.

I packed a new born outfit and a 0-3 Incase for both my kids. My son left the hospital in the 0-3 outfit(he was almost 10lbs) and my daughter left swimming in her new born outfit (she left weighing just under 7lbs) so it’s just better to be safe!

With my first, I took newborn and preemie because she was diagnosed with a growth restriction, so I knew beforehand she would be small. With this one I will probably just do NB since all my measurements are on track. Even my 9+ pound nephews wore NB for a week or two so I don't think mine will need anything bigger.

With my first I took newborn, he was born so small he could've fit into preemie. My second I brought preemie and newborn and he was so big he definitely didn't fit in preemie. He actually grew out of newborn clothing by 3 weeks old. I would suggest just bringing a couple outfits in each of those sizes just in case lol.

I took newborn and zero to three which was good because my daughter didn’t fit into the 0-3 like I expected and fit into the new born.
