Fasting numbers

Anyone only have an issue with spiked fasting numbers? My numbers after meals are well within range, but for some reason, no matter what I eat (or don’t eat) the night before my fasting numbers are ALWAYS high during the work week when I wake up and check at 7AM. however, on the weekends when I sleep in until 8 or 9, my fasting numbers aren’t as high?? I really don’t know what’s going on, but I’m SO worried they’re going to put me on insulin at night to help with my fasting numbers. Anyone else ever deal with this and did you have to have insulin to fix it?
