Will the sodas blow up in the hot car?

I’m on vacation and I just realized I left a 12 pack of coke- a cola in my car back home. I checked the weather and it’s 102 degrees there... do you think they will blow up in my car?

No, I doubt it. Because C02 is dissolved under pressure to make soda fizzy, the only way the cans would blow up is by increasing their internal pressure. You'd need to shake the cans first.

Not with high heat. Its should be okay. They ship them in containers where it gets so warm over seas

I’ve had it happen before but doesn’t mean it will. Is there any one that can go get  them or? Best case you come home to flat pop
