Multiples of bottles and soothers?

Question

Was wondering how many different brands of bottles and soothers you bought? Also which brands did you buy? I am planning on breast feeding but I know it’s not always that easy! Am looking for advice on bottles in case!

I nurse but my little one is at daycare so she takes Dr. Brown bottles during the day. That is also what I have at home and started using before going back to work. 
I use the advent soothie pacifiers but my daughter has also learned to self soothe using her thumb.

My daughter would only take Mam bottles and Pacifiers. Love the anti comic bottle. Strongly recommend!!

I got a couple of Avent, Nuk, and MAM pacifiers to start with. Avent were no good for us. My baby liked Nuk the best but I switched him to MAM when he got a little older. 
Definitely don’t buy too many of one kind of bottle until you’re confident baby likes it. My son mostly breastfed and did fine with Medela bottles that matched my pump. I got a couple of Avent sample bottles.

We received dr browns, medela, spectra, como tomo, advent, and mam bottled. My favorite if you're worried about nipple confusion or want easy cleaning was como tomo. Our son didn't mind at all switching between breast and bottle but he did eat way too fast so the one we use is dr browns with a premie nipple. It seemed to help for gassiness.

I bought avent because they fit my pump without needing an adapter. We started with 6 I think, but then I bought some blue ones to distinguish night milk, and then finally switched to kiinde for the most part. I kept the bottles in case I run out of kiinde pouches. We have 2 avent pacifiers and one wubbanub. He only uses them to fall asleep, so that's sufficient for our family.

I got three Tommee Tippee bottles from my registry and purchased two Mam bottles I saw on a good discount. I also ended up with the Avent bottle that came with my manual pump and the Spectra bottles that came with my electric pump so I had four types to choose from. My son didn’t like the ones that came with the Spectra pump at all. He drank from the Avent once then refused it after that. When I tried the Tommee Tippee he did great, so we used those for a while. I had to use a nipple shield to breastfeed for the first several months and once he stopped using the shield he stopped liking the Tommee Tippee, so we tried the Mam and he’s doing great with those now! Long story to say I’m glad I had choices and Mam is our favorite!

I bought all tommee tippee and my baby took to it straight away, didn't even know that for some it takes multiple brands to finally find one that works until I saw it on here, I got lucky or else id of been in trouble if he hated it

Only used one bottle brand Avent and I like the soothers I think it was Nuk the look like the ones the hospital gives but it has the cut out for their nose both worked just fine planning on the same this time around

I have breastfed both of my girls,  the youngest 6 months is just moving onto formula as she's too nosey to breastfeed nowadays! We love tommee tippee closer to nature or Nuby ones, they both claim to mimic breastfeeding.  We have MAM soothers, but thats after trying a few.

Don’t go crazy buying a ton of different brands pick maybe two to start with and see how baby likes it. It’s going to come down your baby’s preference on bottles as well as pacifiers. My son went through a ton of bottles expensive ones too and he hated them all he actually preferred the cheap ones from the store.
