Y’all were so right.

I asked y’all a month ago if I should let my manager throw me a shower, because I felt a little weird about it (and I have social anxiety, so gatherings where I’m the center of attention are reeeeeeally not my thing).

Y’all said I should let her, so I did. We had the shower on Tuesday and it was SO. NICE. They all brought food and hung decorations and played some games, but mostly we just chatted and ate and made jokes and I felt so supported.

So. Y’all were right, I had a great time and everyone else seemed to enjoy it, too 😊
