Should I change Hospitals?

Hello Ladies, this FTM need your input/advice. 
I’m currently 27weeks, and in my 36-37 th week, We will be moving to a new home which is an hour from my current home/hospital. 
There is another hospital about 14 minutes from the new home, but of course my OB doesn’t deliver there. I love my current hospital as they have great staff/facilities and it was 7 minutes from my current home. Once I move, it’ll be an hour long drive. 
I’m kind of worried about not being able to get to my current hospital on time or having to drive an hour back home with the baby after delivery, so I’m wondering if i need to switch hospitals? 
The time will be very close to my delivery also so at this point, I know nothing is for sure yet. I just want to know what you ladies think, if you experienced something similar, what worked for you? Any advice?

The hospital i delivered my 2girls was 30min away from home the one i delivered my boys was 1hr away and honestly if i was still living where i used to i would go to the 1hr away hospital lol if you love the hospital where you are supposed to deliver stay there but also ask your ob for your record for this pregnancy that was if you don't make it to the 1hr away hospital you go to the one close to you but you have everything already and its easier for them, no hospital can deny medical help if you are in labor

I'd plan on the 1 hour hospital. If baby is truly coming out of you, go to the close by hospital and have their ob on call deliver you (just check that they allow that, some don't)

I'm delivering at a hospital an hour drive from my my OB is also there so I drive an hour for my appts. I love them and I love that they have a level 5 NICU (my youngest was in the NICU for 56days there). 
I would stick to your hospital but if you feel baby or don't think you can make it go to the closer one (they can't turn you away)

I chose a hospital an hour from us bc they are a great hospital. We have one 20 minutes from our house and I have heard nothing good.  Don't worry about the drive home.  You can always sit in the back with your newborn. I would stick with what you know and feel comfortable with.

I’m 21 weeks & moved 1 hour & 45 minutes away from my OB.. At first I was just gonna make the drive, but I started to get worried due to me not having any family up here only my husbands dad & step mom, & me not having a car at the moment, I started to think of every possible thing that could go wrong. Plus I was afraid that if I was to go into labor while my husband was at work he wouldn’t make it in time for the birth.. I LOVED my OB, but had to make the sacrifice & switch to a OB & Hospital that’s only 10 minutes away..

My hospital is already an hour from me. It’s worth it for me to keep my OB and it’s RARE that someone doesn’t have an hour to make it to the hospital to deliver. I’d keep the hospital instead of switching OBs/delivering with an unfamiliar doctor etc.

I would tour the other hospital just in case. But generally in an hour drive to the hospital you should make it no problem.
