First pregnancy and I have BV? SORRY ITS LONG

Okay I need advice/help

So I’m in the process of transitioning from one doctor to a completely different office and doctor.

I was totally fine before my HSG in May, and I was doing great. I went in and they gave me the HSG but the doctor ripped the Catheter and the balloon out. She had to do it again, and I didn’t even get an I’m sorry or anything. Just a muffled “oh shit” after it I was bleeding pretty bad, and I was having severe cramping. They said if it’s still this way the next day to come back.

I went to work the next morning and after I got off I couldn’t handle the cramping. I went in and they said the bleeding had almost stopped but they were concerned about my pain. Then they go “oh! I know what’s wrong! You probably have a uti or yeast infection. Let’s test.” I said no...the cramping is in my uterus area,..they said let’s test anyway to be sure.

Two. Weeks. That’s how long passed before I got a call on my results. I called multiple times and never got a call back. I finally get a call back and the nurse tells me “go ahead and take this amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days, you have a small yeast infection” I said that’s odd..I’m prone to both and I’ve never taken amoxicillin for a yeast infection. She confirms it’s yeast 3 more times. At this point I’m half way through my two weeks wait, and I’m nervous. I take it once and within 24 hours I’m full blown yeast infection. I mean swollen, in pain, itching and burning and the discharge was nasty.

I go to a different doctor and they do a swab and they say the next day I have BV. But it’s odd cause I was tested for BV the days before my HSG and they came back clean. I hadn’t even had sex in a week because of all the bleeding from the HSG. They said they would have my current doctor call me in the morning to discuss treatment. I called the in call doctor who said “I don’t even know why they gave you amoxicillin because the uti was pretty much cleared up..” and I said uti? She said yeast infection. She made up excuses still never apologizing and that was that.

Since there was a high chance I was pregnant they said “we have to wait till after you either get a positive or get your period. Because if you are pregnant we have to wait till 12 weeks to treat because dyflucan can harm the baby’s development, and the first 12 weeks all the major organs are developing. So if you are pregnant we will have to wait.” I said great what do I do in the mean time? They said “Monistat.” I was like that’s expensive af. They refused to prescribe it so I didn’t have to pay 20$ a week for 9 more weeks, because low and behold I am pregnant.

I found out at 3+4 I’m now 5+1 and my old doctors office called me yesterday to tell me they wanted me to take the dylfucan and that I was given “old information” that I could go into preterm labor waiting too long and that I could have a miscarriage (this is my 4th pregnancy and hopefully first full term”

I’m conflicted. Has anyone had this happen (obviously not identically but BV during first trimester??)
