vent what I haven’t been able to say verbally

So at about 3 weeks postpartum my significant other and I had sex when my bleeding stopped. It was very in the moment as we didn’t have sex pretty much my whole pregnancy. We both needed and wanted it. But as we were trying to get pregnant with our son we didn’t have any condoms for a long time. So in the spur of the moment we didn’t have a condom to use. We didn’t stop until we both fulfilled our needs.

Now I am 6 weeks postpartum and have yet to start my period. Which is scary to me since with my daughter I started my period right after my postpartum bleeding.

Now I’m scared that I might be pregnant again. We as a couple wanted 3 children. Our first 2 we wanted to be close in age.. there’s a 2 year gap. And the 3rd we didn’t want until the other 2 were a lot older. This is way too soon.

Just panicked.
