Lost tampon?!

Have you ever lost a tampon in you?! How long did it take to find it or come out?

The last night of my period was June 8th, I put a tampon in and the next morning I couldn’t find it. I forgot if I actually put one in or if I just thought I did so I assumed I just thought I did and went on with my day. A few days ago, June 18th ish, I had a weird color discharge and something wasn’t smelling right so I made an appointment. I tested positive for BV and clean for all STIs and STDs. So they gave me antibiotics and I went on with my week. Until this morning! I was peeing at work and had the urge to push while peeing as if something was coming out, I thought like a kidney stone.... NO! IT WAS MY TAMPON FROM JUNE 8th. This totally explained why and how I got BV. I was so beyond (and still am) grossed out at this. I just want to know if I’m not alone?!?
