Life insurance gift?!

My husband and I just had a baby girl a couple of weeks ago and we’ve been so blessed to have a happy and healthy baby.

So my husbands brother and wife sent us a gift and it was a certificate for life insurance.

Has anyone ever heard of this? Is it normal to feel uncomfortable/weird about receiving this as a gift?

My husband and I are unsure how to respond to this.. what do you guys think?
