Gallbladder????

Question

So I have gall stones and my gallbladder needs to be removed.  It isn't an emergency procedure and so far with a strict diet I can prevent episodes of pain but I think I might be pregnant and they want to remove the gallbladder this month. My question is has anyone had this procedure done while being pregnant?  I've read that they do still do the procedure but I don't know how I feel about while I'm pregnant.  Anyone have the same problem?  Stories please 😅

You likely do NOT need your galbladder removed. I had galbladder pain for years and didn't know it until  I had passed stones. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced  (including childbirth). I did a ton of reading in med books and on the internet and found out that if drink organic apple cider vinegar mixed with apple juice for taste you can STOP gal bladder pain. The acv dissolves stones.  I also figured out that hydrogenated oils found in basically all processed foods is the cause of gal stones. Take milk thistle also is very healing to the liver which is where gals tones come from.

Make sure you tell them that its possible to be pregnant before they plan the surgery. I had it done right after i had my daughter

I have a friend that needed the surgery when she was pregnant. She said the procedure went well and she has since delivered a healthy baby girl.

My sister had to have hers removed in her 8th month because it was causing her to have contractions and threatening premature labor. If you only have gall stones, I'd say try to put it off. But, if you have a gall bladder infection then it's not healthy for your baby.

They gave me the option to have it removed since I was in my tww. But I didn't have anything rupture, was just passing a gallstone. Since then I've just been eating healthier and laying off the salt and I haven't had another gallstone attack in about a year. But if they are saying it's emergency surgery it might be a worse case than mine.
