Long cycles

My cycle has been 35-43 days. I am frustrated because that is a long time to wait to try again! Haha My question is I have heard progesterone can help you get pregnant and shorten the cycle. I obviously have to talk with my doctor and get my labs checked. Just curious if anyone has taken progesterone, their reasoning, and results? Also who else has longggg cycles?
