How do I know if the person I like, likes me back

So I like this guy and he found out so I told him i liked him a long time ago and I’m over him but I’m not and now that schools out I’ve been texting him lately and he’s saying we should hang out and I’m rly nervous so I said me, him and some friends should hang out even tho I just wanna hang out with him
