It says a lot about the ppl someone surrounds themself with if they have to say all of this. I feel like life would be easier to just not tell ppl your in labor and at the hospital.

I Dnt know bc I never had to tell people these things bc the people I associated with have common sense? I feel like if you have to send out a big thing saying this then maybe reevaluate the people you trust to be around your kids? Again not every one is going to agree with me but just my opinion .

I think some people think very highly of themselves if they really believe people will be chomping at the bit for any chance to go see their baby "to be nosy." The only reason I go visit friends at the hospital or with a newborn is to show them love and support. If they would rather me not be there it is no sweat off my back, but I would rather then just say that than post some passive aggressive nonsense like they are worried about the paparazzi showing up to dig up diet on the royal family.🙄

You can tell people, print up flyers, hell even staple it to their foreheads and they will still NOT listen to a word you say. When I was trying to get sewn up and meet my newborn son family from both sides were trying to come in already! It was a constant fight with family even when we got home between people trying to come over late at night or trying to stay for hours on end. Family really loses their sense of boundaries when their is a new baby. I don't have to agree with any of the rules but I do think everyone needs to respect the mom's wishes. 
I do agree strongly with having clean hands and clothes when touching a brand new baby, don't visit if you're sick, don't kiss the baby, bring food with you and don't over stay your welcome unless you're doing chores.

I think it would be extremely rude to post this, but I ALWAYS have the unpopular opinion, so take whatever I say with a grain of salt. I also don’t see the big deal with people touching a pregnant belly or people making small talk by asking when you’re going to start a family. 
Again, my opinion is always unpopular and I’m used to people disagreeing with me. 😊

I actually agree! My babies are born in like 5.5/6 weeks, although I wouldn’t post on Facebook as I’m not on Facebook! I would make these rules clear to people, when you have a baby you’re tired and exhausted and you just don’t wanna be pissed off! So I guess I agree! Apart from the fighting part!
