How do you manage in-laws?

I’ll start with I’m very thankful to have them in our lives and so close to us. Everything they do is from a place of love.

But how to you manage over involved in-laws?

It’s my own fault for not setting boundaries early however I thought it would settle after the newborn excitement wore off.

But they’re still popping in unannounced and staying for hours 3-4 times per week. Including over meal times so I suddenly have to cater for 2 extra adults.

Like I said I do love them and don’t want to offend them. But it’s all too much. I’m forever canceling plans with my friends or getting behind on housework because I’m busy entertaining them.
