Joining the military?

Hello,

I’m trying to figure out a few things but I probably should just go to the recruiter office. But I’m a single mother of one, that wants to join the military but I don’t know if I can or not. Some people told me I can to just do the whole custody thing but I just got full custody of my child a few months ago but the father doesn’t care much about our child. He’s in the military already.

So what’s y’all thoughts and opinions? I graduated college in 2017 and finding a good job in my degree field is such a headache 🙄. My child’s father got ordered to pay child support but hasn’t paid anything and now he’s in Poland and still doesn’t help me at all take care of our child we made together and me being the only parent that’s taking care of our child my income isn’t the Best but it takes care of everything. And I just want the best life for my child. I live in a small town but I have a job but just not the one in my career field.
