What are some ways you raise your baby that is different from the US/Canada?

I’m Canadian and with my daughter we are told no crib bumpers and baby needs to sleep on it’s back. Where I am living now, bumpers are encouraged and baby is to be on its tummy at all times, even the strollers/carriages are designed for it.

What are some ways raising a baby in your country is seen as odd in North America?

I'm in the UK and I constantly feel like the odd one out on this app lol. 
A lot of people disagree with me and my parenting but it's different here in the UK. 
I think we need to realise that everyone is told different things and we follow our doctors/health visitors/midwifes advise and we shouldnt be mum shamed for that. This is from my personal experience from being on this app.

I’m from America and we are told the same thing as candians - no bumpers, blankets, toys or even that mesh covering that goes around the crib on the inside. We’re also told baby can only sleep on her back until she starts to roll over. Apparently, the US use to recommend women allow their babies to sleep on their tummies all the time and never their backs but too many babies were dying. When they switched the recommendation to backs, infant deaths went down by like 70%!!!

In Norway, well the Nordic countries actually, babies sleeps with duvets from birth. Yes even at the hospital. And it's what's recommend from the Norwegian SIDS association. 
The majority of parents also use a bassinet on the stroller, not the car seat.  Most have strollers like the one you showed a picture of. But babies are laying on their back in it, not tummy. 
We also leave babies and kids outdoors in their stroller for daytime naps the year around, just dress them for the weather and season. And if you are out shopping, and you want to go in somewhere while baby sleeps, you leave the stroller on the outside (as long as the weather allows it) 
Most Norwegians also dress their kids in wool clothes, especially fall-winter-spring.

Also another thing. Where I am it’s common for the grandparents to take care of the babies so the parents can work. In Canada that’s unheard of since parents are either still working and not retired yet or don’t want to. Right now my sister pays my mom to watch her sons. My mother in law where I am is begging to watch the baby when I go back to work.

I had a lady come up to me in the park and ask how old my baby was. I told her almost three months. She then told me that she is from Thailand and that they do not leave the house or bring baby out in public for at least the first three months, sometimes four! I was very surprised as I had never heard of it! I found it very interesting!

I live in Canada, but I take taekwondo. My Korean Grandmaster told me when I bought the new baby to see him that in Korea they advise the mother and baby stay inside for the first 100 days! I would go crazy! Maybe his recommendations were out of date, but still!

I’m a Canadian living overseas in China...I get hate all the time for the following: 
- baby not wearing enough clothes...as a Canadian 25 and up is quite warm out and the humidity here is usually above 80% so when people tell me to cover her legs and it’s 32 out, I always have to explain that baby isn’t cold. Especially if I am baby wearing. 
-Using the baby carrier...I was told to lay her flat in the stroller and not use the car seat attachment by doctors here 
-they wanted to give baby formula in the hospital before my milk came in, I refused and stood by my desire to breastfeed and that colostrum would be enough. Some of the doctors agreed and some did not 
- vaccinations are only given one at a time, so I am constantly at appointments to get all of her dosages in. They want to space them out every week or every other week
